Whale Hill Project gets extra £2000
A scheme to improve the Whale Hill Roundabout on Birchington Avenue has received an extra £2000 courtesy of the GaTeS area committee. The project is to enhance the Birchington Avenue roundabout with special features designed by local school children. Chair of the GaTeS Committee Councillor George Dunning said, "I am delighted that the GaTeS Area Committee agreed to donate this money to such a worthwhile project."
Friends of Eston Cemetery
The GaTeS Area Committee have decided to formulate the 'Friends of Eston Cemetery' It has been set up to help allieviate the problems in the Cemetery such as Anti Social Behaviour and vehicle access. The Scheme has been helped along with the contribution of Teesville Labour Councillors Sheelagh Clarke, Norman Pickthall and George Dunning, who has chaired the first 2 meetings, were turn out has been excellent.
