War memorial is saved by Normanby Labour Councillors

After a long campaign of work, the war memorial at Smiths Dock will be renovated. The names on the memorial will be renewed and the area is to be tidied.

Recently installed alley gates in Cleveland Street and Lambton Street have proved a success and have improved the quality of life for people in Normanby.

As part of the Normanby village project, ornate fencing was installed on Normanby High street to try and improve safety and improve the overall look of the village.

 

Objection to Spencerbeck greenfield housing

 

Normanby councillors have objected to the planned building of houses on the greenfield site between Spencerbeck House and Allendale Road. There are plenty of brownfield sites nearby that can be used for housing, and to take away a huge field that is used by the general public seems ridiculous.

 

Normanby Elect 3 Labour Councillors
